La cantante islandesa Björk, quien promociona su álbum Volta, se presentará por primera vez en México el próximo 8 de diciembre, en uno de los conciertos más esperados del año, luego de lograr ventas por más de 15 millones de discos.
La compositora y actriz se presentará en Guadalajara, Jalisco, adonde llevará su música, caracterizada por un gran rango expresivo y mezcla de géneros, como pop, rock alternativo, trip-hop, jazz, electrónico, folk y música clásica.
El cierre oficial de su gira Volta será en el teatro Gran Rex, de Buenos Aires, Argentina, del 4 y 7 de noviembre, pero la cantante actuará en la barranca Oblatos de Huentitán, una reserva natural ubicada en la inmediaciones de la perla tapatía.
La fecha aparece ya en el sitio oficial de la artista (www.bjork.com); sin embargo, no ha sido confirmada por los organizadores, quienes han declarado a medios locales que en los próximos días se dará más información sobre el concierto,
Algunos medios han señalado que la actuación de Björk en México es parte de un festival en el cual se presentarán varios artistas internacionales, ya que el precio del boleto y su venta se desconoce, mientras el acceso al parque es gratuito.

Como surge dicha agrupación?
r: Se unieron casi accidentalmente cuando Kjartansson y Stefan Arni buscaban un reparto para una película corta que estaban realizando. Cuando la filmación se pospuso, los escritores Daniel y Siggi propusieron grabar un álbum. "Polydistortion", su primer álbum, fue grabado en 11 agitados dias y lanzado a finales de 1995.

Una mezcla única de blackbeats y romance ha hecho a Steph Herr Legowitz un DJ favorito. Es un gran admirador de Neck Warmers.

Daniel Agust
Maniático del ski. Ha pertenecido a bandas exitosas islandesas durante una década. Desde el rompimiento de su ultima banda "Nydonsk" se ha presentado en el Teatro Nacional Islandés y en el Teatro de la ciudad de Reykjavik. Ha prestado su voz para el doblaje de dibujos animados.

Hafis Huld
Ha bailado, cantado y actuado en escenarios desde la edad de cuatro años, alentada por sus padres de Kopavogur.Ella cantó para algunas otras bandas antes que Gus Gus (incluyendo la banda de hard rock "Shark Remover"). Ella actúa en el teatro y en películas. Ella es amada y admirada por la juventud de su pueblo natal por ser la maestra mas entretenida los domingos, en la escuela de la iglesia local.

Es piloto de planeador. Hace documentales y videos junto con su hermano (también en Gus Gus) Siggi Kjartansson como el duo visual de Kjol &Anderson.
